- LB Khaleke Hudson, Washington Commanders: With Jamin Davis done for the season, Hudson stepped in to replace him and had a very productive outing with a team-high 14 total tackles. Hudson is unlikely to play a full-time role as long as Barton is in the lineup but can be rostered and likely started in deeper leagues.
- S Geno Stone, Baltimore Ravens: Stone would step into a full-time role if Williams’ groin injury causes him to miss more time.
- S Ronnie Hickman Jr., Cleveland Browns: With Grant Delpit and Juan Thornhill out and D’Anthony Bell getting injured in this game, the Browns are thin at the safety position. Hickman could be an option for deeper leagues based on playing time alone.
- S Brandon Jones/Elijah Campbell, Miami Dolphins: Both Jones and Campbell were called upon to play starting roles for the Miami defense because Jevon Holland and DeShon Elliott were out of this game with injuries. Jones would be the priority for IDP managers in need of an option, assuming Holland and/or Elliott miss another game.
- S Trenton Thompson, Pittsburgh Steelers: With Minkah Fitzpatrick out and Damontae Kazee suspended, Trenton Thompson is expected to play an every-down role in Week 16 against the Bengals.
- S Julian Love, Seattle Seahawks: Jamal Adams was inactive due to a knee injury so Love was able to step back into a full-time role and came up with two interceptions as a result. Love can be picked up and started where available, assuming Adams misses another game.
