- According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Houston Texans will host former Bills safety Aaron Williams on Thursday. Williams has suffered a major neck injury in each of the past two seasons and has recently indicated he is healthy.
- Over the past two years, Williams has played just 553 total snaps. In 2016, he ranked 61st out of 90 safeties while earning a 74.4 overall grade. He did not play enough snaps to be eligible for rank in 2015.
- Williams started his career at corner-back, playing his first 1,100-plus snaps either on the boundary or inside at slot corner. After moving to safety full time in 2013, Williams had a breakout season, grading 18th overall among safeties with a 81.0 overall grade.
