- According to Pro Football Talk, Dallas Cowboys backup running back Alfred Morris’ future with team “remains uncertain” and the team has shopped him all offseason.
- Morris had a hot start to his career, grading as the third-best running back during his 2012 rookie campaign at 91.4 overall. That season he ranked in the top five in both elusive rating (51.0) and yards after contact (2.99). He forced the third-most missed tackles (57) in the run game.
- Since his great rookie season, he has seen his overall grade and position rank drop. In 2016, playing behind Ezekiel Elliott, he earned the lowest grade of his career (58.2) while playing the fewest snaps since entering the league (130).
- During Morris’ first three seasons he saw the field for 2,016 offensive snaps. Over the past two he has only played just 445.
