Notre Dame’s playoff aspirations are legitimate because of the team's outstanding defense. If Riley Leonard is more consistently accurate, the Fighting Irish will be an incredibly dangerous team.

For Pittsburgh to bounce back from what was a horrific 2023, Nate Yarnell will have to expand off the few games we saw from him last year. The Panthers also need to find some sort of consistency up front, both offensively and defensively.

N.C. State has become a pretty safe bet to be a top-25 team every year under Dave Doeren. And if QB Grayson McCall is as good as he was at Coastal Carolina, the Wolfpack can be much better than that.
