- The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed 2015 preseason standout RB Terrell Watson.
- During the 2015 preseason, Watson averaged 3.80 yards after contact which ranked eighth best of 123 qualifying running backs. He was also 14th in rushing yards with 130.
- Watson’s numbers took a dip on limited carries during the 2016 preseason, however. He averaged 3.00 yards after contact per carry, 30th out of 108 qualifiers, while only rushing for 57 yards.
- In both 2015 and 2016, Watson did struggle with his elusiveness, forcing only three missed tackles on his combined 41 carries.
- On just 10 regular season carries with the Eagles, he averaged 2.11 yards after contact per attempt and had yet to force a missed tackle.
