- Field Yates of ESPN reports that former Buffalo Bills fifth-round pick running back Karlos Williams has been suspended for at least a year after serving a ten-game suspension in 2016 while on the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad.
- In 2015, Williams bested newly acquired LeSean McCoy to lead the Bills in elusive rating (56.5), which uses missed tackle rate and yards gained after contact to measure a runner’s success beyond the point of being helped by his blockers.
- His breakaway percentage (the percentage of yards that come on runs of 15 or more yards) of 36.8 percent was also best on the team and ranked third-highest in a talented 2015 rookie class.
