Despite missing their starting quarterback, star tight end and top wide receivers, the San Francisco 49ers gutted out a hard-fought 26-23 win over the Los Angeles Rams to kick off Week 5.

Minnesota Vikings 21, Cleveland Browns 17
The Vikings edged the Browns 21–17 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Despite falling behind late, quarterback Carson Wentz led a fourth-quarter comeback, marching Minnesota down the field with key completions to wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.

Denver Broncos 21, Philadelphia Eagles 17
The Broncos stormed back from a quiet three quarters to outscore the Eagles 18-0 in the fourth, outgaining them 156-15 in a dominant final frame. Philadelphia had one last chance, but Jalen Hurts’ Hail Mary fell incomplete in a crowded end zone, sealing Denver’s comeback win.

Dallas Cowboys 37, New York Jets 22
Ryan Flournoy and Javonte Williams led the charge for the Cowboys' offense, while the team's defense limited the Jets to just three first-half points.

New Orleans Saints 26, New York Giants 14
The Saints snapped a four-game losing streak with a 26-14 win over the Giants, earning Kellen Moore his first victory as head coach and Spencer Rattler his first as a starting quarterback. Rattler connected with Rashid Shaheed for an 87-yard touchdown — the longest Saints play since 2016 — to spark the offense. The defense also came up big, helping New Orleans move to 1-4 on the season.

Jonathan Taylor‘s three touchdowns powered the Colts to a blowout win over the Raiders in Week 6.

Carolina Panthers 27, Miami Dolphins 24
The Dolphins blew a 17-point first-quarter lead in a 27-24 loss to the Panthers, falling to 1-4 on the season. Despite early success from Tua Tagovailoa and a pair of forced turnovers, Miami’s offense stalled after halftime while the defense gave up explosive plays to Carolina’s Rico Dowdle and Bryce Young. A late Panthers touchdown and Miami’s failed final possession sealed an embarrassing collapse for a team still searching for consistency.

Houston Texans 44, Baltimore Ravens 10
The injury-riddled Ravens were no match for the Texans, who have turned things around after a 0-3 start to the campaign.

Tennessee Titans 22, Arizona Cardinals 21
The Titans snapped a 10-game losing streak with a dramatic 22-21 comeback win over the Cardinals, capped by Joey Slye’s game-winning 29-yard field goal as time expired. Trailing 21-6 in the fourth quarter, Cam Ward led two touchdown drives and a late field goal march, with help from a bizarre fumble-recovery score by Tyler Lockett. The win moves Tennessee to 1-4 after a previously winless start.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38, Seattle Seahawks 35
The Buccaneers just won't quit. Despite being down Bucky Irving and several others, Baker Mayfield and Emeka Egbuka carried the load for Tampa's offense, connecting seven times for 163 yards and a score. A Lavonte David interception with 58 seconds left catalyzed a walk-off field goal from Chase McLaughlin, pushing Tampa Bay to 4-1.

Jake Browning‘s three interceptions ultimately doomed the Bengals in Week 5, despite their best efforts to mount a comeback against the high-flying Lions.

Washington Commanders 27, Los Angeles Chargers 10
The Commanders erased a 10-point deficit by scoring 27 unanswered points to beat the Chargers 27-10, fueled by Jacory Croskey-Merritt’s two rushing touchdowns. Jayden Daniels threw for 231 yards and a late touchdown in his return, while Washington’s defense pressured Justin Herbert into four sacks.

New England Patriots 23, Buffalo Bills 20
The New England Patriots pulled off a stunning 23-20 victory over the previously unbeaten Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park, marking their first set of back-to-back wins since 2022. With the loss, the Bills drop their first game of the season, leaving no undefeated teams remaining in the NFL. Rookie quarterback Drake Maye and veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs were exceptional, powering the Patriots to the upset.

Jacksonville Jaguars 31, Kansas City Chiefs 28
Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars to a 31-28 win over the Chiefs on Monday night, rushing for the game-winning touchdown with 23 seconds remaining. Lawrence accounted for three total touchdowns, while Jacksonville’s defense delivered a huge play with Devin Lloyd’s 99-yard interception return. Despite 318 passing yards from Patrick Mahomes, the Jaguars improved to 4-1 and handed Kansas City its third loss.
