Rushing share is one of the clearest indicators of a running back’s role — and often, their fantasy value. Whether you're trying to confirm a bell cow workload or spot a changing committee, early trends can tell us plenty.

Joe Burrow bounced back from his first career shutout by throwing for 309 yards and four touchdowns as the Bengals turned a tight first half into a 45-21 rout of the Dolphins, scoring 28 points off four straight turnovers. Chase Brown scored three touchdowns in the third quarter alone, while Miami unraveled in the second half behind rookie starter Quinn Ewers despite a strong early showing.

J.J. McCarthy ran for a touchdown but left late in the first half with a right-hand injury after a strip sack turned into a Giants defensive touchdown, before backup Max Brosmer guided the Vikings to a go-ahead fourth-quarter field goal in a 16-13 win. Bryce Young threw two touchdown passes and Lathan Ransom sealed the game with a late interception as the Panthers beat the Buccaneers 23-20 to move into first place in the NFC South. Carolina took the lead on a fourth-quarter field goal and turned away Tampa Bay’s final drive, putting itself in position to clinch the division with help next week.

The Bears survived a game they trailed for most of the night by capitalizing late, rallying for a 22-16 overtime win over the Packers to move to 11-4. A recovered onside kick, clutch execution from Caleb Williams and DJ Moore, and steady kicking from Cairo Santos flipped the game in the final minutes and sealed a critical division victory.

Despite a sloppy start that included a kickoff fumble and three missed field goals, the Eagles found their rhythm behind Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley to beat Washington 29-18 and clinch a second straight NFC East title. Hurts threw two touchdowns and Barkley rushed for 132 yards and a score as Philadelphia pulled away in the second half and sealed the win with late points.

The Rams fell to the Seahawks 38-37 in overtime as Seattle erased a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit and won on a game-ending two-point conversion, knocking Los Angeles from the NFC’s No. 1 seed to No. 5.

Aaron Rodgers threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns as the Steelers pulled away in the second half to beat the Dolphins 28-15 on Monday night, staying atop the AFC North. Pittsburgh scored four straight touchdowns after a sluggish start, while Miami’s playoff hopes were extinguished as Tua Tagovailoa and the offense stalled in the cold.

The Vikings spoiled Dallas’ playoff hopes with a 34-26 win, as J.J. McCarthy delivered his best performance of the season and Minnesota’s defense dictated terms against a Cowboys offense that struggled on third down and in the red zone.

Brock Purdy threw three touchdown passes and San Francisco scored on its first five possessions to cruise past the Titans 37-24, snapping Tennessee’s brief momentum and tightening the 49ers’ grip on playoff positioning.

The Commanders snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 29-21 win over the Giants, fueled by a Jaylin Lane punt-return touchdown, a rushing score from Jacory Croskey-Merritt, and a 51-yard TD strike from Marcus Mariota to Terry McLaurin.

The Chargers eliminated the Chiefs from playoff contention with a 16-13 win at Arrowhead, sealing it when Derwin James intercepted Gardner Minshew in the final seconds after Patrick Mahomes exited with a knee injury. Justin Herbert, playing through a broken left hand, threw a touchdown as Los Angeles completed a rare season sweep of Kansas City and secured back-to-back 10-win seasons.

C.J. Stroud threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns as the Texans raced to an early lead and rolled past the Cardinals 40-20, extending Houston’s winning streak to six games. Nico Collins topped 1,000 receiving yards for the third straight season while Arizona, despite big numbers from Trey McBride, dropped its sixth consecutive game.

The Bears reached 10 wins for the first time since 2018 by dismantling the Browns 31-3, powered by a three-interception defensive effort and a sharp Caleb Williams, who threw two touchdowns in frigid conditions.

The Falcons edged the Buccaneers 29–28 in Tampa thanks to Kyle Pitts Sr.’s monster three-TD, 152-yard performance and Zane Gonzalez’s walk-off field goal after a chaotic, penalty-filled night in which Atlanta racked up 19 flags but still averaged 7.2 yards per play.
