Quarterback
Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints | 44% rostered
Winston is going to be one of the top waiver-wire adds this week, and rightfully so. He was the third-highest scoring quarterback in Week 1 with 29.62 fantasy points. Winston only threw for 148 yards but tallied five passing touchdowns and another 37 rushing yards to boot.
His Week 2 opponent in the Carolina Panthers aren’t exactly dominant, though they aren’t a cakewalk, either. Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson produced a decent 18.32-point performance against them in his NFL debut. Winston should be able to match Wilson’s production even with a slight concern over the 32 pressures Carolina racked up in Week 1.
Mac Jones, New England Patriots | 26% rostered
Arguably the most impressive rookie quarterback of the week, Jones only managed 15.24 fantasy points against an incredibly tough defense in the Miami Dolphins. He has a much easier opponent in Week 2 with the New York Jets visiting town.
