The New England Patriots advanced to their first AFC Championship Game since 2018 by forcing five turnovers in a sloppy, weather-filled 28-16 win over the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium. Houston quarterback C.J. Stroud threw four first-half interceptions and Woody Marks lost a fumble, offsetting New England’s three turnovers and sealing the Patriots’ trip to Denver.

Rashid Shaheed’s opening kickoff return for a touchdown set the tone as Kenneth Walker III rushed for three scores and the Seattle Seahawks overwhelmed the San Francisco 49ers 41-6 to reach the NFC Championship Game.

Will Lutz drilled a 23-yard field goal in overtime to send the Denver Broncos to the AFC Championship with a 33-30 win over the Buffalo Bills in a game defined by late drama and turnovers. After Josh Allen forced overtime with a last-minute field goal drive, his fourth turnover of the night — an overtime interception — set up Lutz’s winner and ended Buffalo’s season.

The Los Angeles Rams travel to Chicago, Ill., to face the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Jan. 18, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Houston Texans travel to Foxborough, Mass., to face the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 18, with kickoff set for 3:00 pm ET on ESPN.

The San Francisco 49ers travel to face the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle, Wash., on Saturday, Jan. 17, with kickoff set for 8:00 pm ET on FOX.

The Buffalo Bills travel to face the Denver Broncos in Denver, Colo., on Saturday, Jan. 17, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. EST on CBS.

Drake Maye threw a fourth-quarter touchdown to Hunter Henry and New England’s defense battered Justin Herbert, sacking him six times in a 16-3 Patriots win over the Chargers in an AFC wild-card game. Andy Borregales kicked three field goals as the Patriots advanced to the divisional round, holding Los Angeles to 207 yards while Herbert fell to 0-3 in the postseason.

The San Francisco 49ers beat the Philadelphia Eagles 23-19 in their wild-card matchup, but lost star tight end George Kittle for the remainder of the playoffs. Christian McCaffrey totaled 114 yards with two receiving touchdowns, while Brock Purdy threw for 262 yards and two scores.

Josh Allen led his first career game-winning drive in the postseason, finishing it himself on back-to-back tush pushes to punch in the winning score with just over a minute remaining. The dramatic finish capped a game with four lead changes on four straight possessions and showcased Buffalo’s toughness as Allen absorbed heavy hits all day before carrying the Bills home.

The Rams survived a back-and-forth wild-card battle by answering Carolina’s go-ahead score with Matthew Stafford’s late touchdown pass toColby Parkinson, the decisive play in a narrow victory. Los Angeles leaned on clutch execution from Stafford and its playmakers in the fourth quarter, while the Panthers’ late surge ultimately fell just short.

Caleb Williams threw a go-ahead 25-yard touchdown to DJ Moore with 1:43 left as the Bears erased an 18-point deficit to beat the Packers 31-27 in a wild-card thriller. Chicago outscored Green Bay 25-6 in the fourth quarter, then sealed its first playoff win in 15 years when Jaquan Brisker deflected Jordan Love’s desperation heave on the final play.

Indiana’s dominant defense forced three first-half touchdown-producing turnovers and Fernando Mendoza threw five scoring passes as the unbeaten Hoosiers routed Oregon 56-22 in the Peach Bowl semifinal. Top-seeded Indiana (15-0) advanced to the national championship game against Miami after overwhelming the Ducks early and never letting up.
