With the AFC South and their season on the line, the Jacksonville Jaguars had to win on the road against the Tennessee Titans in Week 18. In the end, they were unable to deliver against the division rival, losing 28-20 to end their season.

Offensive spotlight: Trevor Lawrence threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns, but he also tossed two interceptions, came up just short on a fourth-and-goal QB sneak in the fourth quarter and couldn’t complete the two-minute drill on the final possession — all huge reasons why Jacksonville couldn’t earn a win today.

Calvin Ridley led the team with 106 receiving yards and a touchdown but just missed on a deep ball that bounced off his fingertips on the final drive, which would have likely been a touchdown. Evan Engram led the team in targets (12) and receptions (10) while also coming up with a touchdown and 79 yards on the day.

Tennessee’s running backs delivered all three of the team’s first-half scores, with Derrick Henry notably running the ball 19 times for 153 yards and a touchdown. Ryan Tannehill came through with a relatively effective game, too, completing 17 of his 26 pass attempts for 168 yards and two touchdowns. DeAndre Hopkins was far and away the top target on the team, earning 10 targets and catching seven for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Defensive spotlight: Tennessee’s secondary came up with some crucial interceptions in the second quarter, including an impressive diving pick from Terrell Edmunds on a tipped pass. Sean Murphy-Bunting came up with the second pick of Lawrence in the first half, which ended up being a significant contribution to the team’s win.

Rookie spotlight: Titans running back Tyjae Spears scored the game's first touchdown by taking a 28-yard pass to the house. Spears has been the Titans’ lead passing-down back this season and had seen the third-most targets on the team coming into this game (64), but this was his first receiving score of the year. Spears also had just one rushing touchdown coming into this game but added to that total in this one, punching his way into the end zone for his second score.
