The 2021 fantasy football finals are nearly in the books for most leagues, and injuries once again played a factor in the Week 17 fantasy football rankings and start/sit decisions. Let's take a look at the NFL injury landscape heading toward Week 18.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Jets

Bucs RB Ronald Jones hurt his ankle in the third quarter. I do not believe it is serious and the Bucs likely were being cautious in a meaningless game. With Leonard Fournette dealing with a hamstring injury, I believe the Bucs will be extra cautious with Jones and potentially hold him out of Week 18.

Jets RB Michael Carter suffered a concussion in the second quarter of the game. He will enter the five-step concussion protocol. He will need to be monitored next week.

Los Angeles Rams @ Baltimore Ravens

Jacksonville Jaguars @ New England Patriots

Patriots RB Damien Harris was forced out of the game with a hamstring injury. It is concerning that he recently dealt with a hamstring injury. With the Patriots' playoff spot already clinched, I would not be surprised if Harris sits in Week 18.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Cincinnati Bengals

Bengals QB Joe Burrow sat out of the last few plays of the game due to a knee issue. He aggravated a knee injury suffered a couple weeks ago. The planting of the foot and outside twisting of the knee is a concern for an MCL sprain or meniscus issue. I don’t believe it to be serious. I expect Burrow to be ready to go.

Atlanta FalconsBuffalo Bills

Falcons TE Kyle Pitts was in and out of the second half with a hamstring injury. He finally left for good in the fourth quarter. Grade 1 hamstring strain RTP is typically one to three weeks. With the Falcons playing for nothing, I wouldn't be shocked if he sat the final week of the season.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Football Team

Washington Football Teams TE Ricky Seals-Jones was hurt in the second quarter when he tried to catch a ball going out of bounds and ran into a camera. He sustained a neck injury and the severity is unclear.

Arizona Cardinals @ Dallas Cowboys

Cowboys WR Michael Gallup suffered a torn ACL in the second quarter while catching a touchdown pass. The soon to be free-agent will undergo surgery and has a chance to be ready for the 2022 season.

Denver Broncos @ Los Angeles Chargers

Broncos QB Drew Lock suffered what looked to be an A/C joint sprain in his throwing shoulder. Grade 1 sprain RTP is typically one to two weeks. He likely plays in Week 18 with an injection.

Houston Texans @ San Francisco 49ers

Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints

Detroit Lions @ Seattle Seahawks

Seahawks TE Will Dissly (heel) and RB DeeJay Dallas (thigh bruise) suffered injuries in the game against the Lions. The severity for the injuries are unknown. Imaging on Monday will provide clarity.
