The Houston Texans swept its season series against the Tennessee Titans with a much more comfortable win at home compared to the first meeting between the two teams just a couple of weeks ago.

Offensive spotlight: C.J. Stroud returned from his two-game absence and helped his team pick up a big win against a division rival. Stroud threw the ball 32 times, completing 24 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown. Stroud’s connection with third-year wide receiver Nico Collins picked right back up where they left off, as Collins was targeted eight times, coming up with seven catches for 80 yards. Devin Singletary has been dominating the backfield touches as of late and that didn’t change this week as he carries the ball 16 times for 80 yards on the ground.

Will Levis suffered a foot injury early in this game on a sack-fumble that turned into a defensive touchdown for the Texans. Levis managed just 16 passing yards before he exited and was replaced by Ryan Tannehill, who only fared slightly better. The Titans trailed by a large margin for most of the game as he went 16-for-20 for 168 passing yards and no touchdowns. DeAndre Hopkins was the top target in the passing game bringing in seven catches on seven targets for 72 yards. Derrick Henry had one of the worst games of his career two weeks ago against this Texans team and had another quiet one today as he ran the ball 13 times for just 42 yards.

Defensive spotlight: Sheldon Rankins had a big game for the Texans, as the defensive tackle not only delivered a sack in this game but also came up with a fumble recovery early in the game that he was able to pick up and rumble into the end zone for his first career touchdown.

Rookie spotlight: Will Anderson returned to the lineup after a two-game absence and made up for the lost time by taking advantage of a great mismatch with the Titans' offensive tackles. Anderson delivered two sacks in this game, bringing him to seven on the year and keeping him in contention for the rookie lead in that regard, as both the Los Angeles RamsKobie Turner and Tampa Bay BuccaneersYaya Diaby both had 6.5 coming into this week. After Sunday, Turner now sits at nine on the year, while Diaby did not add to his sack total today.
