With Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season officially in the books, we have new and actionable information to utilize going forward. As always, it’s best not to overreact to just one week, but it's important to use what we know to improve our rosters for the grind to come.
The following are my updated .5-PPR superflex rankings to assist with start/sit decisions in what can often be complicated league formats. The key to winning superflex matchups is to understand the range of outcomes with weekly projections.

We will examine these players using tiers. For example, any player in Tier 2 should be started over a player in Tier 3. Within any tier, these choices are going to be a matter of preference.
Since the quarterback pool is limited to essentially 32 starters per week, we will be breaking down the top-100 superflex options each week. Let’s get to it!

14 | Joe Burrow | CIN | QB | @ CHI | 18.5 |
15 | Baker Mayfield | CLE | QB | vs HOU | 21.5 |
Kyler Murray scored five total touchdowns in an impressive showing against the Titans. The Titans did sack him twice and intercept him once, so it wasn’t a perfect outing for Kyler, but this offense has so much upside for him at home against the Vikings.
You might notice Aaron Rodgers is in the top five plays for me this week. After his horrendous Week 1 performance in New Orleans, some might be skeptical. However, this seems like a situation where we shouldn’t be benching last season’s MVP based on one week. He gets the Lions at home this coming week, a team that just allowed 430 total yards to Jimmy Garappolo and the 49ers.
