WHO’S PLAYING THEIR STARTERS?
Before the positional breakdown, it’s best to touch on how each team plans to deploy its starters in the final set of preseason games.
Game 1
Jacksonville Jaguars – playing starters. The Jags’ first-team offense has not looked great, so Urban Meyer can’t afford to let them rest. Expect at least a half of action from Trevor Lawrence and company.
Dallas Cowboys – resting starters. Cooper Rush should get the start, and he will likely be replaced by Garrett Gilbert.
Game 2
Las Vegas Raiders: resting starters. Nathan Peterman has taken every snap for the Raiders in the preseason.
San Francisco 49ers: playing starters. We’ll probably see Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance split reps in the preseason finale, and the latter is the more desirable fantasy option.
Game 3
Miami Dolphins: resting starters. Tua Tagovailoa will not play along with the majority of the team’s starters.
Cincinnati Bengals: playing starters. Joe Burrow will play a limited number of snaps with the entire starting unit. It won’t be enough to make any Bengals starter DFS-worthy, but it makes second/third string options less appealing.

Game 4
New England Patriots: playing starters. The Patriots have not been shy about playing their guys this preseason. Expect both quarterbacks to play but for Mac Jones to see the most snaps.
New York Giants: playing starters. Daniel Jones will play for the first half along with the other healthy starters on offense.
