WR Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams

• • Cooper Kupp has the matchup of least resistance for the Rams in Week 8. The Rams star will face off against Jourdan Lewis, whose 54.7 coverage grade through seven weeks ranks 95th among 125 qualifying cornerbacks.

  • Over the last three seasons, no NFL player has earned red-zone targets at a higher rate than Kupp, who also leads the position in red-zone separation over that period.

• Kupp has generated a massive 52.4% target rate on plays where quarterback Matthew Stafford has been pressured. The Dallas Cowboys lead the league in pressure rate (49.3%) through seven weeks and should be able to pressure Stafford often, which should lead to several targets for Kupp.

RB Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers

• Hubbard has produced 0.91 yards over expected per rush attempt this season, the fourth-best mark at his position. As a result, he has overtaken Miles Sanders as the lead back in Carolina.

• Enter a matchup against the Houston Texans, a team that has allowed a league-worst 60% rushing success rate. Their struggles against the ground game meant that teams have run against them 12% more than expected in the red zone.

• Hubbard is playing well and has a good matchup, putting him in a great spot to find the end zone.

Long shot: WR Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers

• Among players who have run at least 100 routes, Jayden Reed is sixth in the NFL in red-zone targets earned (11).

• This matchup against the Minnesota Vikings should tilt Green Bay to the air. Firstly, Packers star running back Aaron Jones is still recovering from injury, having played only 30% of the snaps since his return. Secondly, the Vikings rank in the top three in expected points added (EPA) allowed per rush over the last five weeks.

• Reed should be running plenty of routes in the red zone, and as a favorite target of Jordan Love in a matchup that should tilt the Packers to the air, there is some value on Reed to find the end zone.
