NFL Week 14 Game Recap: Cleveland Browns 31, Jacksonville Jaguars 27

The Cleveland Browns kept themselves well in the playoff hunt with a 31-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14.

Joe Flacco found tight end David Njoku for a 34-yard touchdown to give the Browns a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter. They connected again for a 30-yard touchdown to bring the lead to 14 points.

The Jaguars got on the board midway through the second quarter, with Trevor Lawrence finding Evan Engram for a 10-yard touchdown to trail 14-7 at the half.

Kareem Hunt opened the scoring for the Browns in the second half, finding the end zone on a four-yard run, before Travis Etienne brought the Jaguars back within a score with a one-yard touchdown run.

Flacco hit a wide-open David Bell for a 41-yard touchdown on fourth down to put the Browns back up by two touchdowns early in the fourth quarter, but Parker Washington hit paydirt to cut the lead to 28-21.

A Dustin Hopkins 55-yard field goal rounded out the scoring for the Browns, with Lawrence and Engram connecting on a consolation score late in the game.

Offensive spotlight: Joe Flacco had another big game for the Browns, going 26-of-45 for 311 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. His favorite targets in the game were Njoku, who caught six passes for 91 yards, and wide receiver Amari Cooper, who tallied 77 yards on seven receptions.

Defensive spotlight: The Browns' defense forced Trevor Lawrence into three interceptions, with Greg Newsome II pulling in one and Martin Emerson Jr. snagging a pair.

Rookie spotlight: Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington had an up-and-down game. He caught two of the three passes thrown his way for 27 yards and a touchdown, but he also had a costly fumble after the catch.
