NFL Week 10 Game Recap: Seattle Seahawks 29, Washington Commanders 26

The Washington Commanders and Seattle Seahawks traded go-ahead scores late in the game, with the Seahawks eventually winning on a walk-off field goal, 26-29.

Offensive spotlight: Both quarterbacks had impressive performances. Geno Smith eventually made just a couple more plays than Sam Howell to steal the game at the death. Smith averaged 7.8 yards per attempt and had an 80% adjusted completion rate. He also did an exceptional job of getting the ball out quickly, with an average time to throw less than 2.3 seconds.

Defensive spotlight: Seahawks edge rusher Boye Mafe had another sack in his breakout season, as he was the most consistent source of pressure for Seattle. Pending grade review, Mafe led the team in pressures with five and had a 13.3% pass-rush win rate on first review. Leonard Williams also notched his first sack since being traded from the New York Giants, though it was one of just two pressures pending review.

Rookie spotlight: Cornerback Devon Witherspoon continued his fine rookie season, helping to strip the ball away from Sam Howell at the end of the productive run from the Commanders quarterback on a play that helped swing the outcome of the game. The Seahawks also saw at least 20 snaps on offense from receivers Jake Bobo and Jaxon Smith-Njigba and running back Zach Charbonnet.
