What better way to kick off the 2022 NFL season than a tie? The Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans couldn't settle things in overtime en route to the 20-20 Week 1 draw.
Offensive spotlight: Less than 24 hours after agreeing to a record-breaking contract extension, Colts guard Quenton Nelson gave up just one quarterback hurry on 54 pass-blocking snaps and is on track to earn a 75.0-plus run-blocking grade.
Defensive spotlight: Three Colts defensive linemen are on track to earn 80.0-plus overall grades: Kwity Paye, DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart. They combined for eight quarterback pressures and eight run stops.
Rookie spotlight: Derek Stingley Jr. played 56 snaps in coverage and allowed six catches on nine targets for 81 yards. He did force an incompletion to salvage an otherwise subpar debut in coverage.
Offensive line spotlight: First-round rookie guard Kenyon Green stayed clean in pass protection on 20 such snaps. He is on track to earn a 75.0-plus pass-blocking grade.
