Justin Herbert threw three touchdown passes and the Los Angeles Chargers cruised past the Minnesota Vikings 37-10 on Thursday night to move to 5-3. Herbert completed 18 of 25 passes for 227 yards, connecting with Oronde Gadsden, Ladd McConkey and Tre’ Harris while breaking Peyton Manning’s NFL record for most completions through six seasons. The Chargers defense dominated with five sacks — led by Justin Eboigbe’s two — as Jim Harbaugh’s team controlled all phases in a decisive Week 8 win.

Houston Texans 26, San Francisco 49ers 15
C.J. Stroud threw for 318 yards and two touchdowns as the Houston Texans controlled both lines of scrimmage in a 26-15 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Stroud led Houston to 475 total yards and nine third-down conversions, while the Texans’ defense sacked Mac Jones repeatedly and held the 49ers to just 65 first-half yards.

Miami Dolphins 34, Atlanta Falcons 10
Tua Tagovailoa threw four touchdown passes to lead the Miami Dolphins past the injury-depleted Atlanta Falcons 34-10, snapping Miami’s three-game losing streak. Tagovailoa completed 20 of 26 passes for 205 yards and no turnovers, connecting with De’Von Achane, Malik Washington, Jaylen Waddle and Ollie Gordon II. Miami’s defense held Bijan Robinson to 25 rushing yards and forced a key fumble as the Dolphins improved to 2-6 while Kirk Cousins and the Falcons offense struggled to find rhythm.

Buffalo Bills 40, Carolina Panthers 9
James Cook ran for a career-high 218 yards and two touchdowns as the Buffalo Bills rolled past the Carolina Panthers 40-9 in Week 8. Josh Allen added two short rushing scores despite a quiet day through the air, while Buffalo’s defense sacked Andy Dalton four times and forced two turnovers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23, New Orleans Saints 3
Anthony Nelson led a dominant defensive effort with two sacks, a forced fumble and a pick-six as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers handled the New Orleans Saints 23-3. Antoine Winfield Jr. added both an interception and a fumble recovery, helping Tampa Bay force four turnovers and improve to 6-2. Sean Tucker scored on a short fourth-down run while the Bucs’ defense overwhelmed Spencer Rattler and rookie Tyler Shough, holding New Orleans to just 264 total yards in the rout.

Denver Broncos 44, Dallas Cowboys 24
The Denver Broncos didn't need a fourth-quarter rally this time around, dominating the Dallas Cowboys 44-24 to win their fifth straight game. Bo Nix completed 19-of-29 attempts for 247 yards, four touchdowns and an interception, and Denver added 180 yards on the ground while forcing two Dak Prescott interceptions.

Indianapolis Colts 38, Tennessee Titans 14
The Indianapolis Colts continued their white-hot start, steamrolling the Tennessee Titans to move to 7-1. Jonathan Taylor was yet again unstoppable, racking up 153 yards and two scores on only 12 attempts, while Michael Pittman Jr. added 95 receiving yards.

Green Bay Packers 35, Pittsburgh Steelers 25
Aaron Rodgers’ reunion with his former team ended in defeat as the Green Bay Packers surged past the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-25 on Sunday night. Jordan Love threw three touchdown passes — two to tight end Tucker Kraft — while Josh Jacobs added a rushing score as the Packers scored 21 unanswered points in the second half.

Patrick Mahomes rebounded from two early interceptions to throw for 299 yards and three touchdowns as the Kansas City Chiefs pulled away for a 28-7 win over the Washington Commanders on Monday night. Kareem Hunt scored twice, while Travis Kelce tied Priest Holmes for the franchise record with his 83rd career touchdown.
