- Nico Collins is among the league’s top wide receivers: Collins has posted a 93.2 receiving grade over the last two seasons combined, which ranks first among all wide receivers.
- Pick a quarterback in Round 3: Ideally, one of the top four quarterbacks is still around for your third pick. The only one available will probably be Jalen Hurts, who is still a good value at that spot.

Round 1, Picks 8-10: Draft a wide receiver
In the most recent perfect draft articles, I often consider a wide receiver along with Christian McCaffrey at the end of the first round. However, McCaffrey currently has the seventh-best ADP at ESPN, which is noticeably earlier than other sites, making this strategy no longer an option. Luckily, both Brian Thomas Jr. and Nico Collins were selected later on ESPN than on other sites, and both rank among my top seven players overall for the 2025 season. While this strategy somewhat complicates adding running backs in later rounds, it is worth it due to how well Thomas and Collins should play this season.
