Justin Fields averaged 20.7 points per game in 2022 in addition to 21.2 points per game over the first five weeks of 2023 and 19.8 from Weeks 11-17, excluding the midseason stretch when he was injured. He averaged 19.1 points per game as a starter in 2024. That has always been good enough to rank among the top-10 fantasy quarterbacks.

He ranks first over the past three seasons in 3.4 scrambles per game, 31.3 scramble yards per game and 0.26 scramble touchdowns per game despite spending four games as a backup last season where he barely played.

Fields has only four carries in his career from the 1-yard line, where he’s converted two touchdowns. If the Jets fully embrace the tush push, that could lead to a few more rushing touchdowns for Fields, which could also make the difference between Fields being a top-10 fantasy quarterback and Fields ranking in the top five.
