Jordan Addison’s 19 receiving touchdowns over the last two seasons are tied for fourth-most among wide receivers, but he ranks 26th in receiving yards and 28th in receptions.

Addison has averaged out as a top-24 fantasy wide receiver both seasons, but his fantasy points have been condensed to a few great games. He has 60 or fewer receiving yards in 18 of 32 games, but in his four best games, he has 110 or more receiving yards and eight combined touchdowns.

According to the 2024 PFF Draft guide, one of new lead quarterback J.J. McCarthy’s weaknesses is “he can get locked onto his primary reads.” Addison has a relatively low percentage of his targets coming from first-read targets, so if McCarthy locks in on his first target, that could lead to a lower target rate for Addison.
