Jared Goff’s 270.7 passing yards per game over the last two seasons are the most among all quarterbacks. His 18.0 PPR points per game, specifically from passing attempts, are the second-most among all quarterbacks.

The Lions brought in John Morton to be their offensive coordinator. Morton was an offensive assistant for Detroit in 2022. Goff had a higher average depth of target and higher deep target rate in 2022 compared to the last two seasons, so we might be in for more big plays in Detroit, particularly from Jameson Williams.

The Lions had the second-highest team offensive grade last season, excluding all quarterbacks, meaning Goff has one of the best supporting casts in the league. Detroit was able to retain the team’s top eight skill players from last season, as well as four-fifths of the offensive line.
