Vikings pick up Anthony Barr's fifth-year option

• Minnesota Vikings
  • Barr is one of only two players to have at least 17 QB pressures since entering the league in 2014.
  • His pass rush grade of 71.2 ranked fifth in the league among linebackers.
  • After ranking near the bottom in cover snaps per reception (6.0, last in NFL) and cover snaps per target (5.5, second-worst in NFL) his rookie year, 2016 he was ranked no worse than sixth in the NFL at either.
  • Yet he has the second-most missed tackles in the passing game in the NFL since 2014 (27).
