- Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco has a passer rating of just 7.9 when under pressure, comfortably the lowest in the league.
- On Sunday, during the Ravens loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Flacco was under pressure on 50.0 percent of his dropbacks and finished the day with a passer rating (under pressure) of 0.0, in the process failing to complete a pass over 10 yards.
- Flacco’s struggles while under duress are not new, and it is an area by which he has struggled throughout his career, finishing in the top 10 quarterbacks in the league for this category only twice. In the 2015 season, his passer rating under pressure of 42.8 ranked last among 37 eligible quarterbacks.
- Unfortunately for Flacco, the situation is unlikely to improve as Marshal Yanda, the highest graded guard in 2016, was lost for the season with a fractured ankle suffered in Week 2, in a victory over the Cleveland Browns.
