The veteran was effective in slot coverage, averaging 80 yards per coverage snap (sixth-best at his position) and 12.2 coverage snaps per reception (10th-highest).
- A Jim Schwartz favorite from his time in Buffalo, the defensive back has played just 23 snaps this preseason, not allowing a catch on two targets.
- The addition of Ronald Darby seemingly made Brooks expendable. The Eagles will move forward with Darby and Jalen Mills as their starting outside cornerbacks, with Patrick Robinson manning the slot.
