The Baltimore Ravens dominated the Seattle Seahawks, 37-3, at home to move to 7-2 on the year, dropping the Seahawks to 5-3.

Good defense by both teams led to a scoreless first quarter, before the Ravens' offense struck first on an 81-yard drive capped by running back Gus Edwards.

Edwards then made it 14-0, scoring from three yards out before the teams traded turnovers and field goals.

The Ravens opened the second half with another scoring drive, going up 20-3 on a 45-yard field goal from Justin Tucker after a 42-yard run by Gus Edwards put them in scoring range.

Baltimore closed out the third quarter up 30-3, with rookie Keaton Mitchell scoring from 40 yards out — the team's first 20-plus-yard rushing touchdown in the past 17 games. Odell Beckham Jr.’s first touchdown as a Raven concluded the scoring.

Offensive spotlight: Lamar Jackson was efficient as a passer, going 21-of-26 for 187 yards, but the rushing attack was the story of the day for the Ravens' offense. Jackson notched 60 yards on the ground, Gus Edwards had 52 yards and two scores, Justice Hill ran for 40 yards on 13 carries and undrafted rookie Keaton Mitchell racked up 138 yards and a touchdown of his own.

First-half turnovers were the biggest issue for the Ravens — a strip-sack on Lamar Jackson and an Odell Beckham Jr. fumble where he held the ball in one hand and paid the price. Beckham made up for it in the fourth quarter, though, catching his first touchdown as a Raven to finish the day with five receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown.

There isn't much to say about a Seahawks offense that was overwhelmed by the Ravens' defense. Their lone scoring drive came thanks to a 50-yard catch by D.K. Metcalf, but Geno Smith finished the game just 13-of-28 for 157 yards and an interception.

Defensive spotlight: Second-year Seahawks edge defender Boye Mafe continued an impressive sophomore campaign. In the second quarter, he forced a fumble as Lamar Jackson went to pass, beating left tackle Ronnie Stanley around the edge.

For the Ravens, safety Geno Stone extended his NFL lead with a sixth interception on the year, taking advantage of an overthrow by Geno Smith and finding the ball over the top. Baltimore's schemed pass rush was ferocious again, with Justin Madubuike and Odafe Oweh registering a sack each, Kyle Van Noy securing two and forcing a fumble, and Travis Jones, Michael Pierce and Jadeveon Clowney combining for four batted passes.

Rookie spotlight: The Seahawks' top two 2023 draft picks saw plenty of work again this week. Cornerback Devon Witherspoon, the fifth overall selection, should have had an interception on a forced throw by Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley and was also run over on a long Gus Edwards rush. Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a career-high six receptions, which he turned into 63 yards.

Keaton Mitchell broke out in the Ravens' backfield, rushing nine times for 138 yards. Wide receiver Zay Flowers had a quiet game, seeing just one target, which he caught for 11 yards.
