Welcome to Week 2 of the NFL season. Below are PFF staff bets for the games kicking off at 1 pm.

Ben Brown: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -2.5 @ New Orleans Saints (-110 BetMGM)

• The injury situation on both sides continues to grow, but the betting market only seems to be knocking down Tampa Bay's side. He navigated a depleted receiver unit for a majority of his career — and this Sunday should be no different. New Orleans has owned the Buccaneers, but this line is an overreaction to a small sample size of matchups. Take the much better team in this matchup at less than a field goal spread.

Tej Seth: Colts RB Jonathan Taylor O 102.5 rush yards at Jaguars (-115 BetMGM)

• Since the start of the 2020 season, Taylor has racked up 292 total rushing yards over expected. In Week 1, he picked up where he left off, rushing 31 times for 161 yards at 5.2 yards per carry. As Matt Ryan gets acclimated to his new offense, look for Taylor to carry the load in Jacksonville.

Arjun Menon: Washington Commanders ML @ Detroit Lions (+100 BetMGM)

• The Lions are without Pro Bowl C Frank Ragnow, which leaves their interior susceptible to pressure from the likes of Jon Allen and Da'Ron Payne. In 2021, Jared Goff was statistically the worst QB under pressure, and the Commanders racked up 29 of them in Week 1. With Amani Oruwariye hurt as well, the Commanders have the clear talent advantage on the outside to win 1–on-1 matchups again this week.

Sam Monson: Buccaneers -2.5 at Saints (-110 BetMGM)

• All you heard this week is how the Bucs can't beat the Saints in the regular season. It hasn't happened since 2018, but they match up particularly well this time around. Tampa Bay's defensive front is going to cause all kinds of problems for the Saints, and ultimately in a matchup of Tom Brady vs Jameis Winston, I know where my money is going every time.

Judah Fortgang: Commanders alt spread -5.5 (+200 DraftKings)

• Lions QB Jared Goff sees drastic splits depending on the quality of his offensive linemen — and he will be without 3 key lineman against a ferocious Washington D-line. Bet Washington to jump out to a lead and for the backdoor kings to come up short without a strong O-line.

Kurt Blakeway: Cleveland Browns -4 first half vs. New York Jets (-110 BetMGM)

• I love the Browns full game of -6.5 today, but HC Kevin Stefanski's conservative play calling in the 2nd half with a lead worries me. Cleveland should be able to get out to an early lead behind its dynamic running game. Joe Flacco is 2-15 SU and 7-10 ATS in his last 17 starts dating back to mid-season 2018. He has scored more than 7 points in the first half of a game once in his past 9 starts. Flacco and the Jets posted the 4th lowest offensive PFF (59.4) grade of Week 1.
