NFL Week 15 Player Prop Bets: TE Tyler Conklin, RB Jerome Ford and more

TE Tyler Conklin, New York Jets: Over 28.5 receiving yards — Conklin has been targeted five or more times in five of his last six games, and he’s surpassed this receiving yardage total in all of those games.

RB Jerome Ford, Cleveland Browns: Over 15.5 receiving yards — No team has given up more receiving yards to opposing running backs than the Bears. Matt Eberflus' traditional Cover 2 defense invites teams to throw it short and underneath the structure of the defense, which leads to running backs becoming involved in the passing game.

TE Tyler Conklin, New York Jets: Over 28.5 receiving yards (-114)

For most of the season, Tyler Conklin has been the Jets’ second-best receiving option behind Garrett Wilson. He has served as a reliable safety blanket for the Jets quarterback(s).

Conklin has been targeted five or more times in five of his last six games, and he’s surpassed this receiving yardage total in all of those games.

The Jets are 8.5-point underdogs in Week 15, so they’ll likely be playing from behind and throwing the ball more often.

The Dolphins are pretty banged up on defense and will be without linebacker Jerome Baker, who’s been a fairly good coverage linebacker. The last time these two teams matched up three weeks ago, Conklin tallied four catches for 33 yards, and that was with Tim Boyle at quarterback. If Zach Wilson continues his impressive play from last week, Conklin should be able to go over this total.

RB Jerome Ford, Cleveland Browns: Over 15.5 receiving yards (-110)

No team has given up more receiving yards to opposing running backs than the Bears. Matt Eberflus' traditional Cover 2 defense invites teams to throw it short and underneath the structure of the defense, which leads to running backs becoming involved in the passing game.

The Bears have allowed 16 or more receiving yards to an opposing running back in all but one of their games this season.

The Browns offense has been pretty productive with Joe Flacco at quarterback, with the veteran throwing for 250-plus yards in both of his starts. Ford has been a primary beneficiary, recording 30-plus receiving yards in both of Flacco’s starts.

As seen in the table, Ford is the Browns' preferred pass-catching running back and will likely see the most looks in this game.

WR Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers: Longest reception over 18.5 yards (-114)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a slightly below-average team when it comes to defensive success rate but are bottom-six in expected points added (EPA) allowed, which means they allow a ton of explosive plays through the air.

With receivers Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks out for this game, the target share for the Packers will be more concentrated around Jayden Reed and Doubs.

The Packers like to use Reed closer to the line of scrimmage and on jet sweeps, which means Doubs will become the preferred downfield target in this game.

The Bucs have allowed the most 20-plus-yard passes this season, and without cornerback Carlton Davis in this game, Doubs should get enough looks to catch a long pass.
