The Kansas City Chiefs knocked off division rival Los Angeles Chargers on the road this Sunday night, putting them on the brink of securing the AFC West title.

Offensive spotlight: Patrick Mahomes was once again playing at an MVP standard. He was dialed in from a clean pocket and hit deadly accurate throws on the horizontal concepts stretching across the field.

Tight end Travis Kelce had the best night of any player on the field and is the highest-graded offensive player from this matchup on first review. He was targeted on over a third of his routes run and hauled in three touchdowns for the game. Kelce broke two tackles on six receptions and averaged 14.8 yards after the catch per reception.

Defensive spotlight: Chiefs off-ball linebacker Nick Bolton was one of the most notable players from either team on the defensive side of the ball. In addition to grabbing the game-sealing interception, Bolton flew to ball carriers and racked up double-digit tackles. He didn’t miss one of his 13 tackle attempts and was the first defender to contact on 10 of those.

Rookie spotlight: Clyde Edwards-Helaire took an early exit due to injury, paving the way for seventh-round rookie Isiah Pacheco to lead the backfield. Pacheco averaged 7.2 yards per carry and helped lead Kansas City to a 50% success rate on the ground for the game.

Offensive line spotlight:The Chargers offensive line woes continued on Sunday night. Four of the five starters lost three or more reps in pass protection against Kansas City, and each of those players own a poor pass-blocking grade below 60.0 on first review. Rookie guard Zion Johnson notably performed well below his standards, as he allowed a sack, hit and hurry against Chris Jones and the Chiefs.
