We know that quarterback is the most important position on the field, but a great pass rush is the ultimate equalizer. Pressure disrupts timing, rhythm and accuracy, something only the elite quarterbacks can consistently overcome.

Last season, 13 of the top 15 teams in PFF pass-rush grade had a winning record. In 2023, 15 of the top 16 teams in PFF pass-rush grade had a winning record. A dominant pass-rush is undeniably crucial to a team’s success over the course of the season.

Each week, after every NFL game is graded and reviewed, PFF will check in on the top pass rushers of the 2025 season. These rankings will change drastically early in the campaign, as one sack, hit or pressure can significantly alter a player's grade when the sample size is small. But as snap counts rise, the grades will stabilize and we'll get a clearer picture of the league's best pass rushers.

Here are the top 32 pass rushers for the 2025 season after Week 13. For more grades and statistics on the league's best pass-rushers, check out PFF Premium Stats.

Week 13 Highlights

Best Pass Rusher: Micah Parsons, Green Bay Packers

Parsons and the Packers got Week 13 started with a statement win on the road against the Lions on Thanksgiving. Parsons was elite once again in that game, earning a 90.6 PFF pass-rush grade after generating seven pressures, including 2.5 sacks. It was the sixth time this season that he earned a 90.6-plus PFF pass-rush grade.

Most Pressures: Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns; Joseph Ossai, Cincinnati Bengals

Garrett’s eight pressures tied for the league lead for the second week in a row, and he has now generated 26 pressures since the start of Week 11. For Ossai, his eight pressures set a career high. The Bengals’ defense frustrated Lamar Jackson all game on their way to an upset victory on the road.

Highest Win Rate: Will Anderson Jr., Houston Texans

Anderson's 38.9% pass-rush win rate in Week 13 paced the league, narrowly edging out Chargers edge defender Khalil Mack (38.5%). The 2023 Defensive Rookie of the Year has taken his game to another level in his third season as a leader of the league’s top defensive unit.

Best Rookie Pass Rusher: Abdul Carter, New York Giants

Carter was benched for the first quarter against the Patriots on Monday Night Football but bounced back in a big way over the rest of the game, generating six pressures (one sack) and leading all rookies in PFF pass-rush grade (75.4) for the week.

Season Highlights

Best Pass Rusher: Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns

Garrett owns the NFL's best PFF pass-rush grade through 13 weeks (93.6) and is coming off yet another strong game against the 49ers (87.7), recording his league-leading 19th sack of the season in a duel with standout left tackle Trent Williams. The six-time All-Pro needs just four sacks over the final five games of the year to break the NFL season-long sack record.

Most Pressures: Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions

Hutchinson’s 71 total pressures lead the NFL, but the gap has closed significantly over the past few weeks, with three players (Will Anderson Jr., Micah Parsons and Josh Hines-Allen) sitting within five pressures. The Packers did a great job of slowing down Hutchinson this season, as he generated just five pressures across 53 pass-rushing snaps over their two matchups.

Highest Win Rate: Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns

Garrett (28.0%) and Will Anderson Jr. (27.8%) are the only two players in the NFL who have a win rate higher than 24.5% through Week 13. Garrett is winning reps at the highest rate of his career, which is saying something for the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year. He led the NFL in win rate last season (23.1%) and in 2023 (27.3%).

Best Rookie Pass Rusher: Abdul Carter, New York Giants

Carter leads all rookies in PFF pass-rush grade (76.5) and total pressures (44) while placing second in pass-rush win rate (13.5%), behind the CowboysDonovan Ezeiruaku (13.7%).
