Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson day-to-day with hamstring injury

  • Wilson’s 58.7 passing grade through Week 6 is over 30 points lower than his grade in Weeks 1-6 from 2012-2021 (91.1).

Washington Commanders quarterback Taylor Heinicke to start Week 7 against the Detroit Lions

  • Heinicke earned a 60.6 passing grade from 2020-21, which ranked 46th out of 61 quarterbacks with at least 100 pass attempts over the span, and his 4.3% turnover-worthy play rate ranked 11th-worst.

Veteran wide receiver DeSean Jackson signs with Baltimore Ravens

  • Only Arizona Cardinals legendary wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has logged more snaps at wide receiver than Jackson since 2008.
  • Jackson’s 17.6 yards per reception over his career ranks third among wide receivers with at least 100 targets since 2008, and his 15.6-yard average depth of target ranks 15th.

  • Cobb leads Green Bay wide receivers with an 82.0 receiving grade and is second with 257 receiving yards, 12 first-down receptions and six explosive receptions on the season.

Los Angeles Rams sign veteran tackle Ty Nsekhe off Indianapolis Colts practice squad

  • Nsekhe has been an incredibly reliable swing tackle for a long time, earning an 86.8 run-blocking grade from 2020-21 that ranked eighth among tackles, with a very solid 78.3 overall mark.
  • While very dependable when thrust into the lineup, Nsekhe turns 37 years old soon and has played roughly 500 total snaps over the last three seasons.

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay believes there is “merit” to removing Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder

  • This could be a watershed moment for the NFL, as an independent investigation by attorney Mary Jo White into the Commanders workplace continues.
  • Twenty-four owners would need to vote in favor of Snyder’s removal in order to force a sale.
