Welcome to the Week 9 trade value chart. Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension and Jay Ajayi’s trade really shook things up at the running back position, so this is the week of the running back.
Below is the full trade value chart for Week 8 and a few of the week’s biggest risers and fallers.
The trade value chart uses our rest-of-season projections to assign values to every relevant player. The dollar amounts assume a 12-team league and a starting lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, and 1 Flex. The players are displayed in order of their standard league values, but we’ve included the PPR values for those players as well.
The first thing you’ll notice is the meteoric rise of Leonard Fournette on the trade value chart. Our rest-of-season projections like him to keep up his touchdown-per-game average. If you agree with those odds, now is a good time to buy low, with Fournette coming off injury.
Deshaun Watson’s rise to the top has given a boost to the entire Houston offense. Lamar Miller is shockingly high on this week’s chart. Personally, I’ve never been a fan of Miller. I think he’s a sell high candidate.
Jay Ajayi’s value has been axed after his real-life trade to Philadelphia. He should still be the lead back, but LeGarrette Blount and Wendell Smallwood will likely still see looks. I’d be trying to sell (if you even can).
