- Bijan Robinson dominated late last season: Robinson’s role increased substantially over the second half of last season, leading to an elite 22.4 PPR points per game over the previous nine games.
- Pick a quarterback like Jayden Daniels early: By adding one or more players who are the best at their position, it’s easier to stockpile players at other positions.

Round 1, Picks 1-3: Draft a running back or wide receiver
If you have the first overall pick, it typically makes sense to pick Ja’Marr Chase, but Bijan Robinson is the top option for the second and third overall picks. However, an argument could be made for Robinson first overall. It’s hard to find good values at running back with the next several picks. The top-10 running backs are typically off the board at ESPN by Round 2. There are higher-ranked players at quarterback, wide receiver and tight end. Nearly all of the clear-cut top running backs are off the board by Round 4. Because Robinson is typically the best option for two of the three picks, and an argument could be made for him first overall, he ends up being the pick here.
