- Target Clark: Green Bay Packers interior pass rusher Kenny Clark is a hidden gem with potential to explode in the box score after two quiet weeks in a row.
- Colts rookie's value plummets: Indianapolis Colts safety Nick Cross has seemingly lost his ideal IDP role, splitting time as a part-time player in Week 2.
- Simmons' usage sinks in Week 2: Arizona Cardinals linebacker Isaiah Simmons‘ usage took a massive hit in Week 2, playing just 22% of defensive snaps.

WEEK 2 WAIVER WIRE TARGETS
Some of the key players stood out as potential adds after Week 2 for leagues of all sizes:
Waiver Wire
- LB – Willie Gay Jr., KC – Gay played 92% of defensive snaps in Week 2 and was efficient. Gay did receive a four-game suspension on Monday, so he should be a low priority on the waiver wire priority.
- LB – Jayon Brown, LVR – With Denzel Perryman out, Brown saw over 75% of Las Vegas' defensive snaps as the team's second linebacker.
- LB – Ernest Jones, LAR – Jones saw a nice bump in snap share this week and has proven to be an efficient tackler, even in a somewhat limited role. He is now worthy of a roster spot in most IDP formats.
- LB – Anthony Walker, CLV – Walker is well ahead of Jacob Phillips on the depth chart at this point, playing nearly as many snaps as Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in Week 2.
- LB – Malcolm Rodriguez, DET – Rodriguez's snap share continues to rise in Detroit, so the time to buy in is now.
- LB – Leighton Vander Esch and Anthony Barr, DAL – Vander Esch would be the priority over Barr but with Micah Parsons playing a full-time edge role, linbeacker snaps have opened up for both these players.
- LB – Pete Werner, NO – Werner posting back-to-back weeks of above 80% snap shares makes him worthy of a starting spot in most IDP leagues.
- EDGE – J.J. Watt, ARZ – Watt made a strong 2022 debut and should be worthy of a roster spot in most leagues.
- EDGE – Uchenna Nwosu, SEA – Nwosu has posted strong pass rush metrics as the Seahawks' clear No. 1 edge rusher in back-to-back weeks to open the season, making him a great option to pick up now while the cost is low.
- EDGE – Alex Wright, CLV – Jadeveon Clowney has already been ruled out for Week 3, allowing Wright to work as the next man up in deeper leagues.
- S – Adrian Phillips, NE – Kyle Dugger suffered an injury early in Week 2 and did not return. Phillips will be a priority safety add in most IDP leagues if Dugger misses time.
- S – Xavier Woods, CAR – Jeremy Chinn managers' preseason fears were realized in Week 2 with Woods seeing the bulk of box snaps.
- S – Caden Sterns, DEN – Justin Simmons is on IR, which allowed Sterns to step into a full-time role in Week 2 and beyond.
- S – Dane Belton, NYG – Belton played his first NFL game and finished with a 79% snap share, making him a decent add in deeper leagues.
- S – Duron Harmon, LVR – Harmon is replacing Trevon Moehrig in the starting lineup while he’s out. Deep leagues only.
