Monday Night Football Week 14: Titans-Dolphins betting preview (odds, lines, best bets)

WR DeAndre Hopkins, Tennessee Titans — under 55.5 receiving yards: Hopkins is the focal point of this passing offense, but he has struggled to generate separation for a while now. And against an elite corner such as Jalen Ramsey, his ability to produce the big plays he used to be well-known for will be severely limited.

GAME OVERVIEW

This game between the 9-3 Miami Dolphins and the 4-8 Tennessee Titans should be a bit of a mismatch.

There is a significant speed difference between these two teams, as Miami is comfortably the fastest team in the league, while the Titans struggle to get downfield with a 31-year-old DeAndre Hopkins as their WR1.

There were a lot of names on the injury report throughout the week, but the final report is much cleaner. Dolphins offensive guard Robert Hunt is already confirmed out, and Terron Armstead is questionable, so Lester Cotton will play right guard and Kendall Lamm may be required to play left tackle once again.

As for the Titans, star pass-rusher Jeffery Simmons will miss this game, while starting cornerback Kristian Fulton will also be sidelined for what is likely to be Tennessee's toughest challenge in 2023.

WR DeAndre Hopkins, Tennessee Titans: Under 55.5 receiving yards (-115 Caesars)

Titans quarterback Will Levis has some upside, and his average depth of target ranks second in the league, but his play-to-play level is questionable at best. And against a secondary that ranks top-five in yards allowed per pass play (4.7, second), EPA allowed per pass play (-0.292, first) and explosive play rate allowed (9.8%, fifth) since Week 8, Levis might be in for a long night.

DeAndre Hopkins is the focal point of this passing offense, but he has struggled to generate separation for a while now. And against an elite corner such as Jalen Ramsey, his ability to produce the big plays he used to be well-known for will be severely limited.

The combination of a sporadic Will Levis and the matchup with an elite cornerback could spell a challenging day for Hopkins.
