Etienne’s fantasy value has been tied closely to his volume. In 2023, he finished seventh in fantasy points per game. He averaged 80.8% of Jacksonville’s offensive snaps and 20.5 points per game before the Jaguars’ Week 9 bye in addition to 66.6% of the snaps and 13.2 points per game after. In 2024, he averaged 13.1 points per game on similar playing time in the first three weeks, before injuries slowed down his season.

Where Etienne has stood out the most is his ability to avoid tackles. His 0.29 avoided tackles per reception ranks second-best among running backs over the last three seasons. His 0.232 rushing avoided tackles ranks sixth-most among running backs with at least 475 rushing attempts, despite a very low avoided tackle rate in 2024.

Etienne averages 7.5 yards per carry on perfectly blocked runs and 3.1 on non-perfectly blocked runs. The Jaguars' offensive line has been in the bottom quarter of the league in run-blocking grade each of the last three seasons. If Etienne gets traded to a team with a better line, his fantasy value could climb.
