Pollard earned the second-best rushing grade among running backs over 2021 and 2022, despite being a backup to Ezekiel Elliott. His 5.3 yards per carry and 3.7 yards after contact per carry both ranked second among running backs with at least 200 carries, behind only Nick Chubb. He was also top 10 in avoided tackles per attempt and first-down rate.

Pollard stood out most last season in his rushing after contact. His 55.2 yards after contact per game ranked sixth-most. His 3.4 yards after contact per attempt is the third-most among running backs with at least 775 rushing attempts since 2020.

A big problem for Pollard was the Titans’ offensive line, which had the second-lowest team run-blocking grade. In Dallas, his line was the best in the league at times, and above average at worst. Pollard really stands out on perfectly blocked runs, which makes his pairing with the Titans less than ideal.
