Hunter Henry finished 16th in fantasy points per game in both 2023 and 2024. In each of the last three seasons, he’s finished outside of the top-18 fantasy tight ends in at least half of his games.

Henry gained at least 50 yards and a touchdown in the first two weeks of 2023 and caught 10 passes for 106 yards and three touchdowns in his final two games. He averaged 4.8 fantasy points per game for the 11 weeks in between. He similarly had two excellent games with eight receptions each last season but also had six games with 6.5 or fewer fantasy points.

Henry set a career-high in touchdowns in his one season with Josh McDaniels as his offensive coordinator. McDaniels is back, but Henry also had an extremely high target rate whenever the Patriots were close to scoring. McDaniels' other tight ends have had good target rates near the goal line, but no one at the same level as Henry that season. That rate will likely be a little lower this time around but still potentially higher than Henry's last three seasons.
