Kamara has missed a few games every season, but he still ranks 10th in rushing attempts and first in receptions over the last three seasons. His 85.3 rushing grade over the last three seasons is 25th among the 71 running backs with at least 500 snaps, while his 74.0 receiving grade ranks 16th.

New head coach Kellen Moore hasn’t prioritized running backs in the passing game. Saquon Barkley had a 17.7% or better target rate every season with the New York Giants, but that fell to 13.8% with Moore in Philadelphia. Austin Ekeler had a career low in yards per route run at 1.25, the one year Moore was his offensive coordinator. Ezekiel Elliott was consistently above 1.0 yards per route run, and once Moore took over as offensive coordinator, his yards per route run dropped below 1.0 each season, just to exceed 1.0 again in his first season without Moore.

The Saints' offensive line earned a top-10 run-blocking grade despite injuries to all three of their interior defenders throughout the season. The line should be healthy, and Kelvin Banks Jr. should be an improvement. The team’s line consists of four players it has selected in the first round of the last six drafts, and Erik McCoy, who was a second-round pick but earned an elite 94.6 run-blocking grade last season.
