- The Jacksonville Jaguars have done a major piece of business, signing center Brandon Linder to a huge contract extension worth $51.7 million over five years, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
- Linder was the No. 5 ranked center in the league last season with an overall PFF grade of 86.0, playing 97.2 percent of the team's snaps on offense, but has seen time at guard during OTAs heading into 2017.
- Linder allowed 13 total pressures all season and has only surrendered two sacks over the past two seasons combined for the Jaguars.
