Texans, FB Prosch agree on 3-year extension

  • According to Adam Schefter, the Houston Texans have signed fullback Jay Prosch to a three-year, $5.75 million extension that includes $10 million guaranteed.
  • Utilized heavily in the run game, Prosch logged the fourth-most run-block snaps among fullbacks last year, with 149.
  • Since entering the league in 2014, Prosch has shown yearly improvement. He saw overall grades of 41.5 in 2014, 46.5 in 2015, and 75.8 in 2016. His grade of 75.8 last year was seventh-highest in the league among 15 qualifying fullbacks, and fourth-highest in the AFC.
