- Curtis Crabtree, covering the Seattle Seahawks for Sports Radio KJR, has reported via Twitter that Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson suffered an “AC sprain and will be out a bit” during the team’s victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
- Earlier on in camp it had been reported that Richardson was lining up as a starter in the absence of Tyler Lockett, who is currently on the PUP list.
- Richardson, a second-round draft pick in 2014, has seen limited playing time in his career to date, starting just six games, all of which came in his rookie season. In 2015, he only participated in seven snaps before suffering a season-ending injury in December.
- However, he appeared in a career-high 16 games last season, participating in 429 snaps, and recorded his highest PFF overall grade of 77.3.
