Rookie WR Kupp listed as started on Rams depth chart

The Los Angeles Rams named rookie WR Copper Kupp as one of three starters on the first unofficial depth chart of training camp. The third-round pick was listed alongside free agent addition Robert Woods and veteran Tavon Austin who appear as the other two starters — Kupp is expected to run the majority of the slot routes instead of Austin and could be Jared Goff’s favorite target with the second-year QB still adjusting to the NFL game.
Kupp earned the second-highest grade by any receiver in college football last season with an overall PFF grade of 92.0, behind only Austin Carr of Northwestern.
Kupp dominated in college. His 140.2 passer rating when targeted was the fourth-highest among 46 qualified college receivers in 2016. He was also one of the more dangerous receivers when lined up in the slot — his 99 receptions were the second-most in college football and he also had the third-most receiving yards from there, at 1,315.
