- With 61 rushing yards in the Colts’ 30-10 loss to the Jaguars in Week 13, Indianapolis Colts running back Frank Gore moved past LaDainian Tomlinson and Jerome Bettis into fifth place on the NFL’s all-time rushing list. He now has 13,697 career rushing yards, currently 404 yards behind Curtis Martin for fourth all-time.
- The former Miami Hurricane earned his highest career overall grade in 2012 playing for the 49ers with an 85.2 overall, ranking 11th among running backs that year. His 84.5 rushing grade was the ninth-highest by a running back and was also a career-high.
- Gore’s 1,124 yards after contact led the league in 2006, when he also ranked third in the league with 58 missed tackles forced while rushing.
- The veteran’s highest graded game came in Week 17 of 2014 against the Cardinals, when he rushed for 144 yards, with 83 of those coming after contact, while forcing seven missed tackles in the game. He earned a game grade of 91.3 overall.
