- According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, a back injury will sideline Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco for 3-6 weeks, however Adam Schefter reports that Flacco may only miss a week of training camp.
- Coming off an ACL tear in 2015, Flacco was underwhelming in 2016 with the third-worst grade of his nine-year career (75.4). He ranked 23rd of 34 qualifying quarterbacks.
- Flacco’s QB rating on deep passing has been inconsistent throughout his career, grading second best in 2012 while grading 28th of 34 qualifying quarterbacks in 2016. His accuracy on those deep throws was 30.3 percent, only ahead of Bryce Petty, Brock Osweiler, and Blake Bortles.
