Raiders sign UDFA Are out of Florida State

The Oakland Raiders announced on their website that they have signed three players, including offensive lineman Kareem Are, an undrafted free agent from Florida State.
In 2015, Are played 572 snaps — mostly at left guard — and was ranked 146th of 312 guards with an overall PFF grade of 66.9. He was one of only five guards in the ACC with at least 290 pass-block attempts to not give up a sack, allowing four QB hits and 11 hurries in 293 snaps.
In 2016, Are logged 626 snaps at left guard, and his PFF grade of 44.5 was 271st of 317 guards. The decline in Are's game was in run blocking, with his run-block grade falling from 76.6 (99th of 312) in 2015 to 36.4 (272nd of 317) in 2016.
