- Green Bay Packers rookie Kevin King‘s exceptional debut and was one of the few bright spots in the team’s loss to Atlanta on Sunday. While King did play six snaps in Week 1, his 46 in this game was his first real opportunity to play.
- King earned an overall grade of 85.4, good for seventh-best on the week among cornerbacks. Among the four top cornerbacks on the Packers roster, King is the only one to perform well, with the rest all earning poor grades – sub 45.0 overall.
- Out of his 46 snaps, King lined up at right cornerback on 42 of them. He was easily the best Packers defender in coverage on Sunday and despite being targeted five times he only surrendered one catch for 12 yards into his coverage. Julio Jones was targeted twice but did not catch a pass with King on him; one of those targets resulted in a pass defended for King.
