  • Despite ex-LSU RB Leonard Fournette's ability as a pass-catcher being a consistent predraft question, Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said he has been happy with his progress at OTAs.
  • Some of the concerns could result from Fournette not being implemented in LSU's passing game in his time there. Over his three seasons, Fournette caught 40 passes while being targeted just 59 times.
  • Drops were an area of concern for Fournette — his lowest single-season drop rate over his collegiate career was 14.29 percent.
  • These early signs of improvement are a welcome sign for Fournette and the Jaguars as it increases his likelihood of becoming a reliable three-down back in today's pass-happy NFL.
